On January 1,
2010, Disney launched it's Give a Day, Get a Day program to
encourage volunteerism across the country. The Humane
Society of the Nature Coast is happy to be a partner in this
program. In order to qualify, volunteers must complete 8
hours of community service with at the shelter. Volunteers
must complete a volunteer orientation in advance of their
event participation to receive verification of their
attendance
Dolly is an
approximately 3 year old mastiff mix. She is current on
vaccines, spayed and microchipped. We found Dolly abandonned
one cold morning. She is very loving, affectionate, and
protective of her human companions. Unfortunately she bonds
so closely to her human friends that she doesn't like to
share her affection with other four legged furry friends.
Dolly loves to play and go for walks but needs to be an only
child. If you have a home without any four legged furry ones
but would like one, Dolly would be the companion for you.
Come and meet her at the Humane Society of the Nature Coast,
Monday through Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday
12pm-4pm
Booboo is a 5 year
old tortie. She is current on vaccines, microchipped and
declawed. Booboo likes to follow around and conversate with
her human friends. She also enjoys a nice long mid day nap
by the window. Booboo is a very mellow and loving friend.
